which is better xbox live or psn?
I am debating between a ps3 and a 360. One of things i am looking at are online play. So what i see is the psn is free. xbox live is 50 bucks a year. What does xbox live have that psn doesn’t? I see both offer video rental downloads. Both offer great online play with no lag unless of course you have it. Is the 50 bucks really worth it? What do i get that is extra???
So far the only thing i see the xbox has over the ps3 is the amount of games… But i see many many good games are coming out on the ps3? so which one to get?
i dont want just one word answers like
“xbox live”
I want REASONS.
XBOX LIVE is much more "united" than PSN. For example, on Resistance FOM, if I'm in an online game and I can't send my PSN friends directly into a game. On XBL I press the Guide button, send an invite, and no matter what game he is playing he just swaps disks and gets in the game.
On PSN, its up to each individual game to decide what they're going to do for online play, so it feels "bumpy" and badly put together.
On LIVE, you get the same consistent, smooth, expirience on every game.
On LIVE you can chat with your friends when youu're in the middle of the game. On PSN you have to quit the whole game.
On PSN the in-game XMB doesn't load very fast and it takes a while just to send a simple message.
On XBL it loads instantly.
XBL feels like a community, and it is so much better than PSN, You cant even compare it. More players, more features, and less hoops to jump through.
PSN just doesnt feel well put together. They copied their PSP XMB and then added a few more icons.

Is the movie industry really hurting due to piracy?
Piracy has taken a hit, but not enough to hear the movie industry whining. They have been ripping the public for years.
For example:
1 – The movie "Little Mermaid" made a chunk of cash in the theaters. It wasn't a box office smash, but did fairly good!
2 – Theater release to other countries made millions more
3 – DVD releases made it more money
4 – DVD rentals made even more money
5 – Pay-Per-View made some cash
6 – Cable subscribers (Like HBO) pay for some
7 – Broadcast on Network TV with commercials for extra cash
8 – Ten years later, it is Re-released and newly mastered! And makes more money
9 – Remastered DVD sales and rentals
etc….. etc….
How many times can they take the same crappy movie and turn it into cash?
seriously hollywood has no more ideas and is trying to either make money from the same movie or remake an old movie.
have these people no imagination?
