With Netflix, you have a three day turnaround for movie deliveries. If you send the movie out on Monday, they will receive it Tuesday, and you will receive a new movie Wednesday. This is not the case with Blockbuster. Sometimes it takes them two to three days to receive the movie and then another two or three to ship and receive it. Blockbuster's only redeeming value is that you can return a limited number of your movies in store and exchange them for free.

With Blockbuster, I've had various issues with lost dvd's. They said they didn't receive two dvd's from a tv series and they're trying to charge me the full price for each ($21 each whereas the entire series wouldn't even cost that much!). I've tried calling their customer service line three times, have waited on hold at least 15 minutes each time, and have yet to actually speak to someone. So, I tried emailing customer service, which was useless. They clearly didn't read my email thoroughly, because they answered a question I didn't ask.

I have not had any issues with Netflix, so I would recommend them.
