What part of LA are you looking in? There are tons in Koreatown (obviously). The markets, inside either Ktown Galleria or Ktown Plaza, are open relatively late (Olympic and Western) and they also sell copied dvds for only $2! I've only been to the Galleria one. There are a lot scattered around so if you just drive around, you're bound to find one within a minute~ Good luck!

From collecting on a fortnight to double-checking a customer’s scorecard, they might say things a bit differently in his part of the world. But with Radio Rentals’ stores averaging 3,000 units on rent per location, it’s lingo we could all do well to learn.

Krideras’ company operates 65 locations throughout Australia including some stores that have more than 5,000 units on rent at any one time. Their best-renting items include furniture, electronics, appliances and exercise equipment. They, too, are faced with regulations that can vary by state (although they’ve got far fewer states to be concerned with). And it’s not unusual for stores in areas with a lower concentration of residents to deliver merchandise up to 100 kilometers (about 62 miles) away.

I've been using Netflix for a while now but I do notice that they utilize "throttling" – in order to meet "shipping demands" at the end of the month, those who have rented out LESS movies that month get priority for shipping. So say that I have have 12 movies delivered to me on the 20th and another guy has had 2 out. He and everyone else who has had less than 12 movies out will get priority for shipping. Personally, I think it's all a bunch of BS and Netflix utilizes it to limit the number of movies you can take out in a month so that you keep your membership longer.

So I was just wondering if Blockbuster has the same policy, because if they don't I might consider switching.
Yeah I wish we had Blockbusters around here but we don't. That would be great. We used to have them but a local rental chain of about 5-6 stores ran them out of town, lol. I thought it was good a while back but now, not so much.

I am a Blockbuster store manager. Blockbuster online does not practice throttling. Also, you will receive coupons for free in store rentals and you can turn in your online rentals in store for more free rentals at which point your queue is automatically freed and you will immediately be mailed the next movie on your list.
