Why can't i download YM without having to sign up for a free trial of Blockbuster DVD rentals?
The blockbuster dvd rental should be considered optional, although i never had that kind of problem before. When i downloaded yahoo messenger, it went directly to the prompt, and that was it.Try going to http://messenger.yahoo.com and select the messenger version that you want. If that doesn't work, go to:

Oh wow. That's weird. I was able to download it without any problems, promotions, or prompts. Don't let Blockbuster draw you in (lol!)!
